1 - ObjectThis regulation aims to define the conditions and civil responsibilities of the client/lessee that enters into with the taxpayer Bike & Ride - Chernukha Mykyta nº 302247750, with registered office at Rua Cidade de Évora 15, 2775-309 Parede, temporary contract with term lease and the use of bicycles.​2 - General ProvisionsThe bicycles to be rented to customers are the exclusive property of Bike & Ride and are intended for leisure trips within the Municipalities of Cascais, Oeiras, Sintra and Lisbon (100km around our store).​3 – Terms and ConditionsTerms:a) The Customer / Renter agrees to assume responsibility for possible damage or loss of bicycle(s) and accessories during the rental period.b) The customer / Lessee has the responsibility and obligation to respect traffic rules.c) In overnight rentals, it is the Customer/Renter's responsibility to park the bicycle in a safe location indoors.​Conditions:a) A security deposit or cash deposit is required by Bike & Ride.b) It is mandatory to leave an Identification Document with a photograph.c) All bicycles are rented with a lock. – We will show you how to use padlocks correctly during the rental process.d) Bike & Ride will provide helmets whenever requested at no extra cost. - The use of a helmet is mandatory for users of electric bicycles and all children under 12 years of age.​4 – Rental PricesThe rental prices are those shown in the price list posted in a visible place in the Bike & Ride store.The prices indicated include VAT at the current rate. The rental price includes padlocks and helmets (optional).5 – Insurance and AccidentsBicycle rental does not imply any civil liability or personal accident insurance on the part of Bike & Ride.The customer is always responsible for damage caused to the bicycle, to third parties and themselves.6 – BreakdownsIn the event of any type of damage to the rented equipment, due to the customer's fault, the customer must immediately notify Bike & Ride and deliver the bicycle to the store, with the customer being charged the amount corresponding to the calculated period of downtime of the equipment.In the event of any type of breakdown in the rented equipment, through no fault of the customer, the customer must immediately notify Bike & Ride and deliver the bicycle to the store, which will be replaced with a similar one.
7 – Theft, Loss and DamageThe rental price does not include insurance against theft or total or partial loss of the bicycle (or other losses), nor damage incurred (as well as to its equipment, mechanics or personal objects transported in the vehicle), due to any circumstance, whether due to vandalism or traffic accident.For other risks (theft, loss, damage to the vehicle) there is a liability amount to be paid by the customer/lessee in the amount of:City bike - €400.00 VAT includedTravel hybrid Bike - €450.00 VAT includedFolding urban Bike - €350.00 VAT included
Road Bike (M size) - €1800.00 VAT includedLoss or damage to accessories (keys, helmet, etc.) are not covered by the liability value and will be charged according to the general price list.
8 – Damaged PartsIn case of partial damage or loss of accessories, the customer is subject to paying Bike & Ride the amount corresponding to the repair and replacement of the damaged parts according to the table in force at the date of the occurrence.​General Price Table:

9 – OmissionsFor cases not covered by this regulation, the parties will be governed by the law in force.
